Trying out transparency editing
from w
Fairies and toadstools seemed suitable subjects for trying out picture-making using transparency, one image on top of another using a folder and Picasa, then go to Photo-edit. Results are strange, maybe suitable for fairy stories, book illustrations, and fantasy.

Oh, I love them. How delicate fairy-like.

Hello Annie,
When are you going to post some of your artwork? I'm so cold this winter that I stay indoors most of the time but still don't do much housework!

Thanks for asking, Wendy, but I do not have or understand either a scanner or digital camera. That's my story and I am sticking to it.

Hello Annie again
I don't mean technology, but where you live there must be some interesting things to sketch with a pen, feltpens, pastels. I'd love to see something of your part of the country.

Yes there are,Wendy, and I scratch around in the middle of Mesquite but have not much to show and no way to show it. My grandson is very saavy. At 4 1/2 he taught me how to enlarge YouTube videos to full screen, so maybe in a few years he'll teach me how to use a scanner and then I'll send you an email. Or I could get a fax machine--new idea-- couldn't I?
And at least do some black and white sketches on it. I understand you can now scan from it to a computer.
