Eucalyptus tree at Drysdale

from w
This painting is too large for my scanner so it's divided into two parts. I'll try and find a way to get it into one picture sometime.

I appreciate the fluid lines and the use of colors in this painting. I can see the vivid life it contains...I am drawn into it. I wish I could see the real painting!

Beautifully expressive! I love the sinuous lines.

Thank you Karlassi, Karen, and Penny. Because I tend to exaggerate too much I used a white oilpastel to tone down the colours I had on the large gum tree. I like drawing/painting these kind of trees maybe because they remind me of the river gums along the Murray River - and Swan Hill where I lived as a child.
I'm very happy with the art stuff I bought this week, some for me, some for the grandkids.
