Symbols of birds and Spirit

Today the lectionary was about the Spirit descending like a dove - imagery and metaphors to describe the indestribable. The readings we had and the songs we sang reminded me of a banner I once made and a painting of part of that banner with my favourite mug (before the handle broke off). So I did some visual juggling in looking at the bird and mug in different ways. I'm thinking of using this image in the book I'm planning - if it gets off the ground.
