Balyang Sanctuary

When searching for something I found this white on black scratch technique picture of Balyang Sanctuary. It's a difficult technique for me, scratching with a pointed stick or nib into a black card. It was popular maybe a hundred years ago! Not many people would do it today as you can do the same thing via computer. Here I am comparing it with two other pics - one (part of) in pastel some time ago, and the other since the drought. I believe the water is back now. It's a lovely place in Geelong for a picnic and walk around the pathways. More about the place can be found here.
