I'd call that a cancellation with ominous overtones...
Yes, I wonder who cancelled - the people didn't want to come, or the organizer, or God?
Really the traditional churches here seem to be in decline yet some fundamentalist groups are jumping. The Uniting Church is top-heavy with guys in the city offices instead of out there being with the people who are often very stressed.
This was a Uniting Church gig, but anyway, I plan to go to a day program in early June about the 'emerging church' and someone called Jonnie from England. Sometimes I think I ought to be a quaker...or a Sufi!
