playing snap on a hot afternoon

Yesterday it was about 36 degrees centigrade and hot inside the house, hot outside the house but the children entertained themselves by playing snap, and then going out to ride on bikes, scooters, play cricket while we kept on drinking lemon squash. Today is another really hot day and I hope it will cool down during the night.

Today it was about 10 degrees centigrade and freezing in the house.
Just keep thinking about that, and it won't seem quite so bad. ;-)
I like it 10 degrees at night and 25 in the daytime - that's my comfort zone. But on these days over 35 I just conk out! We're having spells of three good days, and then three blazing hot days. Australia's weather at present isn't even at all with bushfires in some states and major floods as well as cyclones in the northern states.
