New Year's Day lunch
from w
Yesterday, New Year's Day, we were invited to have lunch, talk, and kava at the home of Christine and Damien and their little month-old baby Nanise. Some of Christine's family was there too, Siteri and Geoff, and one of her brothers from Fiji, his wife and little girl. It was a delicious lunch, with plenty of story-telling and, as usual, some kava drinking. Vina'a va'alevu guys for a lovely New Year's Day. One of the photos is of the uncle and aunt with the new baby.
