Blue Buddhas and other items

It's time I started some large paintings based on the sketches and variations I have made but laziness gets in the way. Here are some variations of some of my sketches, including the buddha garden, some seedpods, and buoys at the Geelong waterfront.

Your sketches look very intriguing and it will be interesting to see the paintings. Are you really lazy though? I'm always so driven by the things I want to do (and have to do) that I haven't spent a lazy moment in ages, but it sounds very appealing getting reacquainted with the concept!
I have half a dozen canvases ready to go, but it's that blank white space that is daunting. A sketchbook isn't like that.
The local newspaper did a story about my sketching and blog ten days ago so I ought to move on and make good use of the publicity.
