Raining on our picnic

It was amazing to see rain falling down, quite heavily, during our women's picnic at the Geelong Botanical Gardens today. Yesterday was dust and strong wind, but today it's cool! I took my camera to look for shapes, textures and patterns in the fern gully, which is very green, so they must have had recycled water during the drought. (Click on pictures to see larger.)Our church fellowship women usually take our chairs and lunch and sit under a giant tree, but this time we had to run to the umbrella covered tables and chairs near the tea-room. Rain is so unusual these days. Let's hope it will put out the fires that are still burning in at least four places in Victoria.
