Photo plus paint

I cropped some of the photos from yesterday, printed them lightly onto photocopy paper, then on each one added paint and black biro (ignoring the original photo by then) to get a kind of photo-realist effect that was different from the original photos. I am getting lazier by the day!

I discovered an interesting print artist from the TV today as there's an exhibition of her work in Brisbane. Cressida Campbell. She uses woodcut method, takes three months per picture and prints only once, then sells for thousands of dollars. I hadn't heard of her before. She is influenced by Japanese woodcuts and her work is absolutely detailed. a website with examples of her woodcut prints is on-line.
