Patterns from erosion

from w
Because so much land in Australia has been bulldozed to grow wheat etc. it is interesting to find some small spaces that are left natural with erosion, gullies and dead tree stumps. This is from Anakie not far from where there was a bushfire last week.

Wndy you write such fascnating things in your blog. I love the bit about the reunion, having had one of my own last year, frightening. I agree that japanese Story should be added to your list, did you see it? I found it a very moving story and wonderfully acted. With our contacts in japan it made it even more real.
Your sketches and paintings are so lovely. No I wont let them change my style, I just wish I could get it into my head about what I should be doing.I really would love to be able to "paint"

Penny, some of your small paintings have potential and as you do more you will find all sorts of interesting things happen with the colours and textures. Good luck with your workshop this week because you can learn from other participants as well as the tutor.
