church at Altona Meadows/Laverton

from w
This morning Peceli and I drove up to Altona Meadows/Laverton Church and we had a lovely morning with the congregation there, very informal, and Rev Susan is great. Here she is with some of the kids. After the service there was an Annual Meeting with the story of 2013 told through a power-point presentation with lots of photos. Beats words on paper - though they did have that too. This church is regarded as "New Areas' Ministry with a whole new suburb nearby. Our Fijian group has amalgamated with the morning congregation and the link going well. We had a delicious morning tea which included yummy samoosas. Back at East Geelong they were eating pancakes made by our grandkids and others as next Tuesday is Pancake Day before Lent starts. On Tuesday there'll be over a thousands pancakes made at Leopold Primary School - a project linking church and school. Way to go.
