Speed cameras on one
bridge on the Princes Freeway to Geelong are Victoria's busiest cameras,
issuing more than 100 fines a day on average for exceeding the limit or driving
an unregistered vehicle.
Inbound and outbound
cameras on the Forsyth Road Bridge at Hoppers Crossing snared more than 9700
motorists in three months; the Western Ring Road in Sunshine West was the next
highest site with 4655 offences.
The busy freeway
between Geelong and Melbourne is Victoria's key road for camera fines, with
five of the top 10 fine hot spots.
