Barwon Heads sketch - garden gate

from Wendy
A fussy little painting emerged after I did a sketch while waiting at the Barwon Heads Post Office for the bus to return to Geelong the other day. I might do something with it using Photoedit later today.

Nice, Wendy ... I like the composition and the way you've arranged the different shapes of the building and grounds ...

I think it's fine as it is. There's no need to monkey with the image!

Karen, I was intrigued by the different patterns. It was a deep garden and surprising because the rest of the street was made up of small shops. Hitchcock Avenue.

Moody, Ooooer. I like to muck about with a pic! Give me photoshop/all the gimmicks and my Christmases will come all at once!

It started as a 10 minute drawing as we waited for a bus. Surprising what develops from an unplanned situation. That's why we need to have a blank book with us all the time.
