Looking around Federation Square

Today was a train trip up to Melbourne to meet Penny and look at art galleries in Federation Square. We looked at Aboriginal art, the Brown Collection, weird and wonderful sculpture and extraordinary clothes, then lunch in a gale at Southbank. Thank you Penny and John for the beaut time together.
The drawings above are of part of a sculpture and window view, and some of the Tiwi sculptures. I'll work on the drawings of the day and post some others later. I really liked the Clothes for Modern Lovers by Katie Pye whose designs can be seen on her website.

I'm so glad you met up. The internet is amazing. Sounds like you had a good day.
Yes, the internet is an amazing place. I used it mainly for information and Fiji news for a time, then got into posting rants on Fiji discussion sites and now connect with many people, but rarely face to face. People sometimes tell more about themselves and their ideas on postings than they tell the people they meet within their (physical) community.
It was indeed a good thing to spend a few hours with another blogger.
After breakfast I'll do something about more little pictures.
